The joggers are traditional sweat pant material. The length is perfect. The rating is due to the light color of the material even though thick shows the pockets underneath. I have to tuck the pockets close to the waste-band to not see them. I am 5 foot tall so I bought these since l had purchased the black ones which are a different material.
