It didn’t work like a traditional shammy. It seemed to just spread the water around instead of absorbing it. Even with it being fully rung out, there were still pretty heavy water streaks. Wiping it on the car as well was a bit wonky. It kept getting caught on the car or whatever part I was wiping and would slip out of my hand (compared to say a towel being a smoother wipe feel, gliding across the surface).
